    1、Unit 5 Nelson Mandela-a modern heroGrammar (The Attributive Clause II)Talking about the lesson:As for my new students this year, they are very poor in English learning, according to their senior entrance examination. Grammar learning is the most difficult for them. In their junior study, they learne

    2、d the Attributive Clause, but they only know a little, most of them have a poor understanding of it. So today, I would like to present the material in a simple way so that they may learn it well. My purpose of this period is to help the students bear the learning targets in mind, stimulate their lea

    3、rning initiatives, help them develop good habits when they are learning English, foster their ability to learn and help them master scientific and effective learning methods.Teaching aims:This teaching period mainly deals with the grammar: the Attributive Clause introduced by the relative adverb and

    4、 preposition + which/whom. For the revision part, the teacher and the students will review some Attributive Clause introduced by the relative pronoun. For the presentation part, firstly, the teacher and the students will pick out the attributive clauses from the reading passage and ask them to trans

    5、late each sentence into Chinese. Secondly, compare and discover the usages of the Attributive Clause, especially the usages of relative adverbs (when, where, why) and preposition +which/whom by giving some examples. Thirdly, do more exercises for students to master the Attributive Clause introduced

    6、by the relative adverb and preposition +which/whom. Finally, summarize the Attributive Clause.At the end of the class the teacher will ask the students to do the additional exercises for consolidation.Teaching emphasis:Get the students to master the Attributive Clause introduced by the relative adve

    7、rb and preposition + which/whom.Teaching difficulty:Enable the students to learn how to choose relative adverbs and how to use preposition +which/whom correctly.Teaching methods:1. Develop the students sense of group cooperation . 教学反思:本节课在师生互动合作探究的友好氛围下较好地完成了学习任务。在学习过程中学生们感知领悟探究知识,较好地体现了新课程的要求,教师积极引导、启发学生,给予了学生更多的时间和机会去发现感知语言规律,使学生对语法意义,功能理解作用有了深层的理解,实现了教学目标。授人以鱼不如授人以渔对学生收益。在今后的教学中应关注学生的学习和认知过程,注重学生思维能力的培养,关注他们的情感态度,并力求把语言形式、意义和用法有机地结合起来。从而提升其与人沟通、思考问题和解决问题的能力,为他们的终身发展打下基础。
