The American Congress did politicalize some of the Chinese investments in the U.S. I dont think this is good for the development of China-US economic and trade relations. Therefore I hope the U.S government will take the right position regarding this issu

After all, the report is not a government released paper.Meanwhile, Jia Qingguo, Deputy Dean of School of International Studies at Peking University says the accusation from the U.S. comes from the lack of mutual understanding and trust between the two nations.I think the dispute comes from the l

4、ack of strategic mutual trust between the two nations. Some Americans consider China as always a competitor. They are worried that Huaweis business in the U.S. might expose threat to the national security of the U.S. Such concern is understandable. But I believe the situation needs to be changed. In

5、 order to avoid such dispute, China and the U.S. need to increase their communication to achieve mutual understanding and mutual trust. Such understanding and trust is not built in one day. They need the joint efforts by the two countries.On the American side, Mr Teng-Kee Tan, Dean of School of Busi

6、ness at University of Missouri at Kansas City, says such accusation is natural in the initial international advancement of telecom companies.It happens in the early stage of Chinese companies advancing into overseas market. I think it is very natural. Time will dilute this. In fact, similar things h

7、ave happened to telecommunications companies from Singapore when they are purchasing telecommunications in Australia. Telecommunications is very sensitive area. You know the nature of the business.Tan also says it takes time for companies to overcome such resistance and to establish its own credibil

8、ity.At the current development of China-U.S. relations, that suspicion is quite natural. But I say it again that the suspicion can be removed. It will take time for us to prove that we can indeed conduct a business. Theres nothing to do with what the government tells us to do.A U.S. congressional in
