19、ong relationship. These two poor souls try to find a way to escape this horrible war together, but can they?Anthony Doerr, the author of All the Light We Cannot See is from Cleveland, Ohio. Critics have praised Doerrs writing for his short, sharp sentences and attention to detail. All the Light We C
20、annot See is his second novel, which was published in 2014. It quickly became a New York Times best-seller and won a Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. The amazing novel gives readers a look at the ugly face of war. Throughout the book, we see how war can destroy peoples lives in the blink of an eye. Chara

He explains that there are generally three reasons why we practice self-talk: to instruct, to motivate or to evaluat
27、e. Instructional self-talk happens when we need to guide ourselves through a specific task, such as learning a new skill. Motivational self-talk usually is used when we want to prepare ourselves for something challenging, and it can help to increase confidence. Evaluative self-talk mostly is related

Of course, self-talk also can be ineffective and even detrimental if its not done right. “It is a matter of personal preference or
