1、Other、others、the other、another的用法辨析一、知识解析1. Otherother可作形容词或代词，作形容词时表示“别的，其它的”，泛指“其他的(人或物)”,不能单独使用，后面必须要接可数名词的复数形式。eg:He studies English, math and some other subjects. 译：他学习英语、数学和一些别的科目。上句话中，尽管前面没有some , 但在other后面也必须用复数形式。2. Others others是other的复数形式，它就相当于“other+名词复数”，泛指“别人；另外几个；其余的”。因此它的后面不能再接名词。oth

2、ers在句中可作主语、宾语。如果句中前面出现了some，后面通常就会用others，即构成“Someothers”的固定结构，这时就可以翻译成“有的有的；一些另一些/其他的”。eg:Some students are dancing, others are singing. 译：一些学生在跳舞，其他的在唱歌。（学生们有的在跳舞，有的在唱歌。）上句中的others在这里就相当于other students.Tom likes helping others. 译：汤姆喜欢帮助别人。3. 4、个，后接单数名词。既可作形容词，也可作代词，只能用于三个或更多的人或物，泛指同类事物中的三者或三者以上的“另一个”，只能代替或修饰单数可数名词。这个单词本质上其实是“an other这两个单词的连写，所以它的前面不能再写上冠词an. eg:I dont like this one. Please show me another.译：我不喜欢这一个，请给我看看另一个。I have three daughters. One is a nurse, another is a teacher and another is aworker.译：我有三个女儿。一个是护士，另一个是教师，还有一个是工人。2）
