    1、Unit 5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came?第二课时(教学设计)教学目标1.语言能力:学生能够熟练掌握教材中的“四会”单词、词组:wind, apart, wood, light, flashlights, candles, matches, die down。 2.文化意识:(1)能够通过阅读记叙文,知晓文章表达承载的信息。(2)通过阅读文章了解在困难面前邻里相互间的情谊。(3)通过学习本文,了解自然是无情的,但是邻里互助是大爱。学习在危难中互助的精神。3.思维品质:(1)能够在阅读中提升分析概括的能力。(2)能够运用思维导图归纳本文

    2、要点,并且构思自己的思维导图。(3)培养学生自我反思、自我总结的能力。4. 学习能力:(1)通过文章标题和插图等获取文章的主旨大意,训练快速阅读的技巧。(2)能够用思维导图梳理文章的主要内容,并能以思维导图为提纲复述本篇文章。教学重点与难点重点:a. 培养在英语阅读中获取信息的能力,提高阅读的效率。b. 熟悉并运用过去进行时。难点:a. 通过阅读训练,培养在英语阅读中获取信息的能力,提高阅读的效率。率b. 培养在危难中互助的精神。教学准备教具准备: ppt,教材,阅读材料教学过程老师活动学生活动设计意图Lead-in(3minutes)Show Ss a video and talked ab

    3、out what happened in Zhengzhou.Watch a video and talk about what happened in Zhengzhou.激发学生的好奇心,并为之后的阅读主题做好铺垫。Pre-reading (2minutes)Before reading,lead Ss to think about the following questions.1.What may happen before the storm ?2.What may happen during the storm?3.What may happen after the storm?F
