My topic is reading and vocabulary of Book 2,Module 2.My teaching ideas are made up of 6 parts: the analysis of the teaching material and the students, teaching aims, Importa

2、nt and difficult points,teaching and learning strategy, teaching procedures, and the blackboard design.Part 1 The analysis of the teaching material and the students.The passage is about the dangers of taking drugs and a story of a drug addict.Students know little about drugs but nowadays there are m

3、any people taking drugs, including some stars . The passage is very important in making students realize the dangers of drugs and keep away from drugs in their future life. Part 2 Teaching Aims1.let students learn some knowledge about drugs and other useful expressions in telling a story2.develop th

4、e Ss reading skills such as skimming, scanning, and improve the studentss sense of cooperation3.make the students aware of the dangers of taking drugs and remind them to keep away from them in their future life.Part 3 Important and difficutl points: Help the students develop a firm“no- drug”attitude

5、 and train the students ability of topic finding Part 4Teaching and learning strategy We will use discussion, presentation, task-based teaching to improve the students ability of using what they have learnt in the passage. Part 5 Before class begins, I will divide students into groups of four.Teachi

6、ng procedures The teaching procedures are made up of six steps: introduction, fast reading, careful reading, discussion ,letter writing and homework).Introduction :（2minutes） I will show the students two photos. One is a group photo of Jackie Chan and Jaycee smiling happily. The other is Jaycee is p

After showing them the photos, I will ask them two questions: Where is Jaycee?Why is he is prison now?Because the students are familiar with the stars and have heard of the news of Jaycee, it is easy to introduce the topic of this module.
