1、Module 6Films and TV Programmes副词和副词短语副词是修饰动词、形容词或副词的词,有时也可以修饰数词、介词(短语)、连词、名词或全句。按照意义,副词可分为时间副词、地点副词、方式副词、程度副词和频率副词。1.频率副词是指表示动作发生的次数的副词,常见的有always,frequently,never,often,seldom,sometimes,usually等。频率副词通常位于行为动词之前,be动词、助动词或情态动词等之后。如:We often go out for a walk after supper.He sometimes goes to other co

2、untries on business.I should always remember those happy days.注意:如果句中有两个助动词,频率副词通常放在第一个助动词后面。如:We have never been taken as their partners.She must sometimes have wanted to give up.2.地点副词常放在动词之后,宾语之前；地点副词和时间副词并列使用时,一般要把地点副词放在时间副词之前。常见的表示地理位置的地点副词有:here,there,home,upstairs,abroad,downstairs,anywhere,e

3、verywhere,nowhere,somewhere,elsewhere 等。表示位置关系的地点副词有:above,below,down,up,out,in,along,over,away,near,off,on,inside,outside等。如:He waited downstairs in the hall.Tom went abroad a month ago.3.程度副词一般放在被修饰的动词、形容词或副词前面。如果实义动词前有情态动词、助动词或be动词,程度副词要放在二者之间。常用的这类词有:just,too,nearly,exactly,perfectly,almost,quit
