After a period of two years, all readers are required to go to the desk with a paper that has their name and present address on it so the librar

87、y can keep up-to-date records of where people are living. Theres no need to register again and there is no charge for this. If you cant find the book you want on the shelves, you can book it in advance. If its in another library in the city, we can usually get it for you within a week. If someone el

88、se has borrowed it, it can take a few weeks. Either way, we tell you by phone when the book can be picked up. We will hold it for you for five days.Books can be borrowed for fourteen days. Childrens books also have a two-week borrowing period. So do the CDs but DVDs, both childrens and adults, can o

89、nly be borrowed for up to seven days. Dictionaries can be borrowed but normally only for one day.The library opening hours have been changed slightly.
