I can learn a lot about the world._3. We always have too much homework._03探究提升1.be good for对.有益Be good for意为对.有好处,for后常接

    3、名词或代词。如:Sports are good for us. 运动对我们有好处。【拓展】be good for的反义短语为be bad for,意为“对有坏处”。 如:Watching too much TV is bad for our eyes.看太多电视对我们的眼睛有坏处。2.get ready for为作准备get ready for 意为“为作准备”,后接名词;若接动词,要用 get ready to do sth. ,意为“准备好去做某事”。 如:We are getting ready for an English exam.= We are getting ready to

    4、have an English exam.我们正准备好去参加一场英语考试。【拓展】be ready for 意为“为作好准备”; be ready to do sth.意为“准备好去做某事;愿意去做某事”。动词 be 强调状态,动词get强调动作。3.learn学习learn,不及物动词,意为“学,学习,学会”。learn a lot about 意为“学习许多有关(的知识)”; learn todo sth.意为“学习做某事”;learn from sb.意为“向某人学习”。如:People want to learn more about the Moon. 人们想更多地了解月球。【拓展】

    5、learn还可作及物动词,意为“学习,学会”,后面直接跟宾语。如:Its important for students to learn English well.学好英语对学生们来说是重要的。4.too much太多too much 意为“太多(的)”,其中心词是 much,用法与 much相同,后常接不可数名词。如:There is too much water on the floor.地板上有太多的水。【拓展】 too much可在句中作宾语,相当于名词。如:You give me too much. 你给我的太多了。 too much在句中作状语,修饰动词,相当于副词。如:She a

    6、lways talks too much but does too little. 她总是说得太多,做得太少。辨析too much, too many与 much too词条含义用法too much太多(的)用作限定词,修饰不可数名词;用作名词,作宾语;用作副词,修饰动词too many太多(的)用作限定词,修饰可数名词复数much too(实在)太用作副词,修饰形容词或副词【拓展】too much 与 much too,用法区别看后头; much后名词不可数, too则可接形或副;遇到 too many要记住,其后名词改复数。如:You eat too much meat but you d
