3、e the Sound of Music was born.where换 成the去掉thereThis was a place.An earthquake happened there.This was the place where an earthquake happened.换 成the去掉therecase(情况)situation(形势)occasion(场合)point(地步)做先行词时，定语从句也用where 引导。This is a case(情况).One needs to be brave in the case.This is the case where one ne

8、in which Mr.Li lives.Page 54Sometimes we put a preposition before a relative pronoun to join two simple sentences.介词+关系词引导定语从句1.whom,which 作介词宾语时，介词一般可放在关系代词之前，也可放在原来的位置上；但是在含有介词的动词固定词组中，介词只能放在原来的位置上。This is the person whom you are looking for.=This is the person for whom you are looking.当这类句子中的介词放在
