22、 tomake mistakes for language learners and that you should accept them.Thissounds obvious ,but when it comes to language learning we often aim for perfection and feel asthough we are not ready tospeak until we have“enough” words or grammaticalknowledge. Thetruth isthat youwill never feel ready , and
23、insteadit is important touse theknowledge tocommunicate what you can.This leads on to my next tip: dont compare yourself to others. This can be a hard one ,especially if you are in a large language class. It is important to remember that we all learn atdifferent speeds and through different styles o
24、f learning. Something that really helped me progresswas finding a patient language exchange partner. Finding someone to practice with whose level ofEnglish was similar to my level of Spanish made me feel much more confident.Lastly, celebrate the small successes and remember how far you have come . I
