On August 20, 2018, a financial story written by Dreamwriter was published, reporting on a slight rise of Shanghai Index to 2691.93 points led by sectors like telecommunications and

On the same day, the article appeared on the online platform operated by Yingxun Technology without Tencents permission.According to the judgment pronounced by Shenzhen Nanshan District Peoples Court, the form of expression of the AI-written story is the same as that of any written
22、work. And the content has displayed a reasonable structure, a clear logic, as well as certain creativity based on selection and analysis of data and information, thus owning copyright. Yingxun Technology, therefore, was required to pay 1,500 yuan as a compensation for economic losses caused to the t
23、ech giant.Nowadays, creating works using artificial intelligence is not rare. The emergence of artificial intelligence, in the meantime, is challenging the copyright system, as experts and the public are putting more focus on whether such works should be protected by copyright.In October, 2019, the
