Scientists believe that they may be able to treat heart attack by cloning their healthy heart cells and injecting them into the areas of the heart that have been damaged, and othe

Current treatments for infertility, in terms of percentages, are not very successful. Couples go through physically and emotionally painful procedures for a small chan

Human cloning could make it possible for many more infertile couples to have children than ever before. We should be able to clone the bone marrow (骨髓) for children and adults suffering from leukemia

    7、(白血病). This is expected to be one of the first benefits to come from cloning technology. We may learn how to switch cells on and off through cloning and thus be able to cure cancer. Cloning technology can be used to test for and perhaps cure generelated diseases. The above is just a few examples of

    14、. Frankenstein, the hero of the novel, is a scientist addicted to life scientific research and tries hard to use artificial methods to create life. However, Frankenstein eventually creates a horrible and ugly monster, which frightens and shocks him so much that he dumps it desperately. At the beginn

    15、ing, the artificial monster has kindhearted nature which is filled with goodwill and gratitude towards human beings. However, after experiencing all kinds of unfair treatments and discriminations (歧视) from human beings, he gets extremely angry. With mad ideas filling its mind, the monster starts to

    16、take revenge (报复). It kills Frankensteins brother William, his best friend Clerval, and then murders his bride Elizabeth cruelly at his wedding. In order to stop the monster from ruining the world around it, Frankenstein decides to destroy the monster, which once cost him a great deal of time and ef

    17、forts. Then the two begin to chase each other to the North Pole, where Frankenstein dies of overtiredness while the regretful monster, determines to kill itself, drifts away on an ice raft, never to be seen again. The novel discusses controversial topics and touches on religious ideas. It shows the
