1、外研版英语八（上）Module 2模块语法详解与训练模块语法详解形容词的比较级 (一)1. 比较级定义：表示两类人或事物之间的比较，一个比另一个在程度上更进一步。2. 形容词比较级构成规则：一般在词尾加-er。如：smallsmaller；oldolder；talltaller；longlonger；shortshorter。以字母e结尾的形容词直接加-r。如：nicenicer；largelarger；finefiner。以重读闭音节结尾的形容词，如末尾只有一个辅音字母，应双写该字母，再加-er。如：bigbigger；hothotter；redredder；thinthinner。以辅音字

2、母加 y 结尾的形容词，把“y”变“i”，再加-er。如：busybusier；easyeasier。多音节词和部分双音节词在词前加more。如：popularmorepopular；beautifulmorebeautiful。一些不规则变化：（好坏多少老远）good/wellbetter；bad/badlyworse；many/muchmore；littleless；oldolder/elder；farfarther/further3. 形容词比较级的句式：（1）同级比较的句式：主语(A) + be + as+形容词原级+as+比较对象(B). 指“A和B一样”。如：Mary is as

3、tall as Kate. 玛丽和凯特一样高。There are as many students in our school as yours. 我们学校的学生和你们学校的一样多。主语(A) + be not+ as/so+形容词原级+as+比较对象(B). 指“A和B不一样/不及/不如”。如：This dictionary is not as useful as you think. 这本字典不如你想象的那样有用。Tom is not as/so tall as Mike. 汤姆不如迈克高。/ Tom doesnt sing as/so well as Lucy. 汤姆唱歌不如露西好。（2

4、）比较级句式：主语(A) + be + 形容词比较级(-er) + than + 比较对象(B). 指“A比B更”，than 后面的动词往往省略。如：He is younger than I (am). 他比我年轻。Which/Who is + 比较级, A or B? 表示两者之间的选择。如：Which is longer, this one or that one? 这个和那个，那一个更长？ / Who is taller, Tom or John? 汤姆和吉姆，谁更高？主语 + be + the 比较级+ of the two. (两个之中比较的那一个，主语包含在两个之中) 。如：Tom

5、 is the taller of the two. Tom是两者中更高的。Mary is the fatter of the twins. Mary是双胞胎中较胖的。The + 比较级，the + 比较级. 表示“越就越”。如：The busier he is, the happier he feels. 他越忙越高兴。 The more you study, the more you know. 你学习越多，你知道就越多。比较级的重叠结构：“比较级+and+比较级”，多音节词和部分双音节词时用“more and more+形容词原级”，表示“越来越”。如：Its getting warme

6、r and warmer in spring. 春天天气变得越来越暖和。 Our home town is becoming more and more beautiful. 我们的家乡越来越漂亮了。拓展记忆：修饰形容词和副词的比较级的副词有：much(更；得多)，even (甚至)，still (更)，a little (一点)，a bit (有点)，far(更/非常/极)，rather(“相当)等词，位于比较级之前。very不能和比较级连用。如：I feel even worse now. 我现在觉得更难受了。 A computer is much more expensive than

7、a bicycle. 电脑比起自行车来要贵得多。The blouse I bought yesterday is a little less expensive. 昨天我买的衬衣比较便宜。To play basketball is far more enjoyable to the boy. 打篮球对于男孩子来说要有趣得多。比较级前面可以加上表示具体数量差别的结构，表示具体“大多少”，“小多少”，“长多少”，“短多少”等。 I am two years older than he. 我比他大两岁。 / This building is 20 meters higher than that on
