7、watch 意为“观看，注视”，指特别留意、感兴趣地看运动着的东西或活动的场面。如：看电视、比赛等。(2) look 强调看的动作，不注重结果；是不及物动词，接宾语时后加at.(3)see 强调看的结果，是及物动词，其后可直接接宾语，无进行时态。(4) read 意为“看，读”，其宾语常是书、报纸、杂志等。2. other 其他的；另外的 辨析 other, the other, another, others与the others(1) other可作形容词，意为，“其他的，另外的”，其后可以接可数名词复数或不可数名词。如: Give me some other examples. 给我一些

8、别的例子。 We also have other tea for sale. 我们也出售其他的茶。(2) the other 意为“另一个”，特指两者中的另一个；也可用作代词，意为“另外的人或事物”，代替单数名词。常与one搭配使用，即：onethe other(一个另一个)。如: Please hand me the other shoe. 请把另一只鞋给我。 I have two skirts. One is red, the other is blue. 我有两件裙子。一件红的，一件蓝的。(3) another 可作形容词或代词，意为“又一（的），再一（的）”，泛指三个或三个以上的同类中

9、的另一个人或物。后通常接单数名词，若用于一下结构则可接复数：another+ 基数词+复数= 基数词+more+复数，表示“又几个，再几个”的意思。如： I dont like this coat. Please show me another. 我不喜欢这件外套，请给我看另一件。 Will you stay here for another two days? 你可以再在这儿待两天吗？(4) others意为“另外的/ 其他的人或事物”，属于泛指，用作代词，后不再接名词。如: We should help others.我们应该帮助他人。(5) the others 是“其余的或剩下的人或事

10、物”，属于特指，可以看作the other的复数形式，后不加名词。如： There are many books here.
