10、l how they will face it.设计意图：通过对作者立场的讨论一方面能够促使学生利用当堂学习的内容来解决问题另一方面能够让学生对这篇文章有更深的理解。让学生讨论生活中遇到的珠穆朗玛，其实是对文本进行了更深的处理，把珠穆朗玛这个话题放得更深更广，很好得帮助学生能够挖掘到文本的内涵。 活动5【活动】Sumup Guide students to sum up what they can get from the article.设计意图：通过总结，学生能够感悟到文本的深层次的涵义：珠穆朗玛是大自然的馈赠，正是由于它的存在，人们才有可能去挑战自我，永不放弃。同时也是由于人们的挑战，当站在珠穆朗玛峰的顶端，世界最高峰会变得很渺小，而原本渺小的人类会变得很高大。活动6【作业】Homework Level A: Review the new words and expressions, then finish the exercise.Level B: Finish a passage about your “Qomolangma” in your life and how you will face it.
