    8、提问及其回答。4) 能简单从方位、人口、食品和可以做的事情几方面说或写一个地方。3. 学习策略 本单元通过Read the map, Read the text for specific information, Ask and answer, Work in groups等形式展开阅读教学,同时强调朗读,并在情境中引导学生正确表达本课所学语言内容,注重学用结合。4. 情感与品德通过学习课文,了解三个亚洲大城市的基本信息以及不同的文化背景;激发学生对不同都市生活的向往。二、单元教学建议1本课中出现了较多的特殊疑问句,用来询问。询问方式,如How can we travel to? 询问做某事花

    9、费时间的长度,如How long does it take? 询问距离,如How far is it from to ? 询问方位,如Where? 询问事情,如What?这些问句及其答句,教师有必要在课堂教学中加以一定的机械性训练, 并设计多个场景,让学生进行操练。2 在6A中,学生已学习过How? / How long? 等特殊疑问句的表达方式,也已学习了用It takes sb. some time to do sth.的句型来回答做某事花费某人多少时间。本单元中增加了疑问句“How far?”。建议温故知新,加以区分疑问词的意思及答句的不同方式。3 在本单元中出现了八个表示方向的词,如e

    10、ast, south, west, north, north-east, south-east, south-west, north-west.学生刚开始学会有些混淆,建议用指南针图表等形式学习,加以不断地复现。三、教学设计【案例一:第三课时 阅读教学】Reading: Great cities in Asia1、教材分析本课为Unit 1 的第三课时,定位为课文阅读教学。内容为Reading:Great cities in Asia,是亚洲三个国际化大都市Beijing, Tokyo和Bangkok的介绍。每个城市分别介绍了它的位置、著名的景点、游客们喜欢做的事情、人口和人们喜欢吃的食品。文

    11、章中出现的句型基本都是学生比较熟悉的句型,需重点强调的是enjoy doing / love doing / like doing。此外,学生还需学习information, palace, tourist, million, building, huge, famous, sushi八个单词。本课通过文本阅读活动以及听说练习,对学生进行语言运用能力的训练,同时对文本的框架需清晰的梳理,为之后的写作大下基础。2、教学目标1) To teach the new vocabulary and sentence: Vocabulary: information, palace, tourist, m

    12、illion, building, huge, famous, sushi.Sentence: They enjoy eating dumplings. They love eating sushi. They also love eating spicy food.2) To improve students ability of searching for information through reading. To improve students ability of speaking through reading and acting.3) To inspire students

Invite the Ss to have a daily talk in the form of a report or a dialogue.这里是对口头作业的一个检测。让学生根据P3页的表格或自己根据生活实际来做一个汇报或者两两对话,大致内容如下:Report: Singapore is _ of Beijing. S2: We can by 每天的口头作业除了背诵还要给学生布置一些既和所学内容有关又能让他们自己设置情境自由发挥的口头作业,真正落实语言的学以致用。学生经过充分的时间准备,也敢于在同学们面前展示自己,这样的环节不仅检测了学生对所学内容的掌握情况,同时对学生自信心和学习兴趣的培养都有着重要的作用。Pre-task preparation1.

    15、 Invite the Ss to talk about Shanghai in the form of asking and answering.这里通过问答形式引出课文中出现的生词:information, palace, tourist, million, building, huge, famous。可以考虑提这样几个问题:1) How many people live in Shanghai? (million) 2) Why do more and more people come to Shanghai? (tourist, famous)3) What can tourists

    16、 do / see in Shanghai? (palace, building, huge) 2. Ask the Ss if they are interested to know about other great cities in Asia. (With the map shown) Elicit: Beijing, Tokyo, Bangkok。Teach: _ is the capital of _.3. Tell the Ss that Miss Guo and her students are reading some information about Beijing. T

(With the picture shown) Teach: information在教学课文文本前,先扫清单词的障碍,并且用lexical chunk的方法把单词放在语境中,结合相关的图片去教学,不仅让学生知其义,也让学生知其如何用。文本中的图片要合理利用。通过图片情境和设问,让学生对接下来的学习内容或猜测或描述,促进学生的思维,增添学习的乐趣。While-task procedure1. Let the Ss

    22、work in groups of three. Suppose they are tourist guides, each chooses a city and introduce it to the tourists with the help of some pictures and hints.由读转化成说的技能,这是质的转变,也是能力的提升。但在说的过程中,要考虑到学生的个体差异,要给予不同程度的扶手。Homework:1. Practise reading the text after the tape and recite it.2. Finish the exercises on workbook 6B, pages 3 and 4.3. Make a poster about Shanghai or other cities, including the location, population, famous places and other important information. (要求学生展开想像力,制作一份海报。提示学生可以通过列表、绘图等方式完成海报的制作。)
