2、 + 句式。【归纳】:表语是用来说明主语的身份、性质、品性、特征和状态的,表语常由名词、_、_、_、不定式、动词的-ing、从句来充当,它常位于系动词(be, become, appear, seem, look, sound, feel, get, smell等词)之后. 系动词,亦称连系动词(Link Verb)。作为系动词,它本身有词义,但不能单独用作谓语,后边必须跟表语,构成系表结构说明主语的状况、性质、特征等情况。 课内探究,突破难点一 表语从句1.【观察】观察下列句子中表语从句的用法,然后加以总结。(1).My hometown is no longer what it used

The reason why he was absent from work was that he was seriously ill.【归纳】:表语从句放在_之后,充当复合句中的_.一般结构是:主语+系动词+引导词+主语+谓语 主句 表语从句表语从句一定要用_语序。在advice, suggestion, order, proposal等表示建议、劝告、命令含义的名词后的表语从句
5、中,谓语要用_,即“_+动词原形”, _可省略,如第7句。that和what在引导表语从句时,作用和意义都不相同。_本身没有词义,在句中只起连接作用,不充当句子成分,如第7句。_则表示“所的(人或事)”,在表语从句中充当主语或宾语等,如第1句。if不可引导表语从句,但_可引导表语从句(as if也可引导也可表语从句)如第4,句,第8句That is because指原因:如第5句。That is_.则指由某种原因所造成的后果,如第6句。但是在表语从句中,当reason作主语时,表语从句的引导词只能用_,如第8句。 常用句型:The reason (why/for)is /was that. /
