Mr. Peter Johnsonescape from his trapped carthrough the boot

根据其上文 work on the boot lock 及下文 but as soon as I moved the boot lid, the water and mud poured in 可推知此题答案为C。48. A。 根据第4段最后一句 but no help came 及最后一段的第一句 Mr. Johnson got to Beckett Farm nearby 可推知地点是在寂静的农村,此题答案为A。

50 A。 从第6段第1句话 The nuclear transfer(核子移植) of one species to another is not easy, and the lack of available (capable of being used ) panda eggs could be a major problem 可以做出正确

The Erie Canal helped New York develop into the nations largest city 58. B。 根据文章第1段第2句和第3句:运河from Buffalo on Lake Erie Troy to Albany on the Hudson River 横跨了New York 把the Great Lakes和the Atlantic Ocean联系起来了可推知此题答案为B。59 A。 通过比较文章第2段第2句 It cost $ 7, 143, 789 和第2段最后一句中的the state collected $121, 461, 891可推知此题答案为A。60. D。 根据文章最后一段第1句中的on July 4, 1817, broke ground for the canal in Rome, N.Y. Between 1825, when the canal was opened 可推知此题答案为D答案简析对话大意:Wang Dong 打电话给他的朋友 Wu Ming 询问是否有“鸡票”(cock year stamp)。
