22、the book so I was excited when I heard about the film. I was disappointed, however, when I finally saw it because unfortunately they managed to make all the amusing parts of the book seem serious. It was also long and slow. I came to the musical without much hope but it was more entertaining than th
23、e film. Theyve had to change parts of the story but I really thought it was as good as the book. Apart from the actor whose voice wasnt as strong as the others, I thought the acting was good. Although the theatre wasnt very large, the music was perfect. Most of the parts in musicals Ive seen recentl
24、y have been for young actors. However, in Bennie, I was surprised 1/3 of the people on stage were at least 40 years old or over and some of them were very well known. This was a great advantage to the production. I noticed that quite a few people didnt buy the ticket. They thought it was too expensi
25、ve. But I think it was worth the money.
