Ive noticed over the years that these are often the artists who have understood fully the skill of telling the story behind their art. These
3、artists arent just selling paintingstheyre selling an experience. Roxanna Kibsey is one of these artists. Her paintings are often exact description of frozen tundras (冻原) or autumn treesso bright that they could nearly burn a hole in the canvas. When I met her at an exhibition she couldnt wait to te
4、ll me about the place in her paintings. “Where I grew up we had nine months of winter every year. Its really quite a tough place,” she said. She relived a part of her childhood when we chatted in front of her painting. The image brought to my mind memories of driving through the snowcovered countrys
5、ide during my own first winter in Canada. I could almost hear the crunching ice under my feet as she described to me the countryside she grew up in. Businessmen may have their elevator pitch, but artists, too,need their 30second story which rolls freely off the tongue. Thats why its so important tha

But all children have to work hard for exams, and at least when I work hard, I work hard for something incredibly exciting, like seeing my whole opera put on.”Almas music
15、al talent first came to light before she could even talk. Her parents recall that as an 18monthold toddler, she was able to hum a perfect version of the childrens rhyme Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.However, Almas abilities only gained international attention in 2012, after a family friend posted a vi
16、deo online comparing her to Mozart. The family was suddenly swamped with media and Alma became an overnight star, dubbed “little Mozart”. This nickname makes her parents unhappy because they believe it puts added pressure on the young girl. They would instead prefer her to be called “a composer and
