NPRs David Welna reports that Santorum had won and Romney has

2、the back near the Republican establishment.Mitt Romney is hoping the endorsement of the Puerto Ricos governor and its top Republican legislators would help and get at least 50% of the votes here tomorrow. If that happens he would win all 20 of the delegates up for grabs. At a rally heard last night,

3、 Romney tried to pop up support.“I ask one thing on Sunday, please go votes and get your friends to vote to gather we will make sure we keep up America the strongest nation on the earth, the hope of the world. I love this nation. I love the people of America.”While Puerto Ricos are US citizens whose

4、 primary votes help to determine who runs for President. In November they will not be able to actually vote for President. Dan Bammes from member station KUER reports the governor could be taken a

6、s a substantial political risk.Governor Gary Herbert announced the veto one day after Utahs Republicancaucuses picked congregation delegates they could vote him out of office even before he gets to a primary. But his spokesperson Allyson Isom says the governors offices received more than 8,000 lette

7、rs and emails most of them demanding a veto.“Its individually and uniquely crafted and often very heartfelt, from parents, from educators, from those who care about Utahs kids and public policy.”HB 363 would have capped Utahs public schools from teaching any method by the abstinence for avoiding pre

8、gnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. For NPR News, Im Dan Bammes in Salt Lake City.In Washington, state navies of army staff sergeant Robert Bales describing him as a kindhearted father. Military officials have identified Bales as the suspect in the killings of 16 Afghan civilians last week. Ba

9、les has now been held in a military prison at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas.Two car bombs have hit intelligence and security buildings in the Syrian capital of Damascus. State television in Syria says at least 27 people have been killed and more than 100 others wounded. The violence is in the latest se

10、ries of attacks against the government of President Bashar al-Assad. Government forces have been ridging a bloody crackdown against their knot of a-year-old in the country. Meanwhile, officials in Iraq are warning Iran not to ship weapons to Syria by crossing Iraqs borders or through its air base. I

11、ran denies the charges. This is NPRs News.Germany authorities say John Demjanjuk is dead. Demjanjuk was convicted last year of being a Nazi death camp guard. Demjanjuk was deported in 2009 and stripped of his USs citizenship retired autoworker was 91 years old.It looks though North Korea is ready to

12、 flux its muscles of a bid on its new leader, North Koreas space committee says it will launch a satellite next month on the same type of rocket used for long range missiles. Officials in the US and Japan are warning North Korea that such a launch will violate a ban on nuclear admissible testing.Its

13、 saying Patricks Day in cities across the nation are celebrating with parades. NPRs Allison Keyes takes to a few places where the sea of green is blandy.The 1000-mile long Manhattans Fifth Avenue for the 253rd annual parade are sipping up the back pipes to kilts and the joy of the day. 16、Day parade. And President Obama celebrated Saint Patricks Day with a pint of Guinness set in an Irish bar on Capitol Hill today.
