The International Olympic Committee has said it wont have a moment of silence for members of the Israeli Olympic team killed in the 1972 terrorist attack. But a widow of one of the slain(被杀戮
4、) Israelis has asked ceremony goers to stand in silent protest during tonights event. Tom Goldman, NPR News, London.The White House has released its federal budget deficit predictions. The deficits projected to rise to 1.2 trillion dollars by the end of fiscal year. The 2012 fiscal year ends on Sept
5、ember 30th. Its the fourth year in a row the deficit is reaching rather risen above 1 trillion dollars. The White House predicts next years budget gap will be just under a trillion dollars.Meanwhile US economic grow slowed during April, May and June to an annual rate of 1.5%. Thats according to gove
6、rnment data released today. As NPRs John Ydstie reports the slowdown could give the Federal Reserve more evidence that added stimulus for the economy is needed.The slowdown in growth comes as cautious consumers pulled back the growth of spending to its slowest pace in a year. The weakness in spendin
7、g was concentrated in big ticket items like automobiles; construction and exports also dragged down the growth. The 1.5% growth rate was above what economists had expected but its not enough to bring down the unemployment rate. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke has made clear that if the unemplo
