13、就对住在楼上的人非常生气。知识点5so.that.的用法1.so.that.意为“如此以至于”,引导结果状语从句,so后接形容词或副词。例如:It was so hot that we all went for a swim.天气太热了,我们都去游泳了。He had so many books to read that he had no time to watch TV.他有这么多书要读,没有时间看电视。2.such.that.也表示“如此以至于”,引导结果状语从句,但such后接名词或名词短语。例如:His plan was such a good one that we all agre

14、ed to accept it.他的计划很好,我们都同意接受。so.that.可与too.to.和enough.to.结构相互转化。too.to.意为“太以至于不能”,enough.to.意为“足够做”。例如:He is too young to go to school.=He isnt old enough to go to school.=He is so young that he cant go to school.他太年幼了,以至于不能上学。知识点6辨析also,too,either 与 as well的用法also,too,either 与 as well 都表示“也”,其用法与

15、区别如下:1.too 和 as well 多用于口语中,语气较轻,通常用于肯定句或疑问句,一般不用于否定句,且通常放在句末。例如:Im tired.Shes tired,too.我很累,她也很累。2.also 比 too 和 as well 正式,一般也不用于否定句,它在句中的位置通常是紧靠动词,即放在行为动词之前,特殊动词之后。有时为了强调也放在句末,但不常见。例如:He also came./He came also.他也来了。3.either通常只用于否定句,且要放在句末。例如:I dont know,either.我也不知道。知识点7some和any的用法考点相同点不同点some表示“

16、一些”时,二者既可修饰可数名词,也可修饰不可数名词。常用于肯定句中;用于疑问句时,表示建议、请求、邀请或希望得到对方的肯定回答等。any常用于否定句和疑问句中;用于肯定句时,表示“任何”,用来加强语气。例如:May I ask you some questions?我可以问你一些问题吗?Do you have any friends?你有朋友吗?知识点8whether or not的用法whether or not 是英语中常用的一个连词结构,意思和功能相当于whether,表示“是否”,常出现在宾语从句、主语从句中。使用时,也可把whether和or not分开,or not 放到句尾。例如:I cant tell whether or not the teacher likes me.=I cant tell whether the teacher likes me or not.我不知道老师喜不喜欢我。
