1、Starter Unit 3What color is it?一、单元教材分析本单元主要围绕“询问颜色”这一主题展开各种教学活动，并以这一主题引出表颜色的单词，问颜色的特殊疑问句及其回答等语言功能。同时学习了字母SsZz、复习巩固所学的全部26个英语字母、总结归纳了元音字母a、e、i、o和u的发音规则。在整个单元学习中注意给学生创造一个轻松、快捷记单词、愉快的学习、交流环境，通过听、说、读、写来培养学生综合运用知识的能力。并让学生能在“做中学”（learning by doing），通过有限的课堂实践活动，注意观察别人的行动，能准确地用英语来表达。通过本单元教学，使学生能运用所学英语，正确地描

2、述物体的颜色；同时熟练掌握所学的26个英语字母。 二、单元学情分析本单元紧紧围绕“询问颜色”这一话题，把字母、有关颜色的日常交际用语、词汇有机地结合起来。话题贴近学生的实际生活，学生们能很容易地将自己的生活体验用英语轻松地表达出来。七年级的学生对英语很感兴趣，学习热情很高，有学习英语的愿望和兴趣，乐于参与各种英语实践活动，在教学过程中，教师应以加以积极引导，恰当培养，让学生形成稳定的英语学习兴趣。学生们正处于成长发育阶段，记忆力较好，理解和认知水平还有待提高，因此在教学过程中应以师生互动为主，充分练习，展示个性，让学生们运用所学的知识来解决问题，实现课堂的实效性。此外，应注意学生在学习的过程中

3、很容易把“What color”错写成或错读成 “Whats color”，因此在练习中要反复强调。三、单元教学建议采用自主学习、小组合作学习、Role playing、 pair work等方式开展听、说、读、写的学习活动。教师要尽量利用幻灯片、挂图、实物等给学生创造较为真实的英语情景，教师可以制作或让学生们制作各种颜色的卡片，整个教学过程应当自始至终在一种鲜明的色彩背景下进行，旨在营造那种为学生所喜爱的欢快气氛，教师应当在十种颜色上大做文章；在使用实物时要使颜色醒目；在组合图画时，要尽量用大色块；在使用投影时要使颜色突出来。 四、单元课时分配本单元可用2课时完成教学任务：(1a-2e) 用
