Interruptions by technology often break concentration and allow for too much dependence upon outside information for ideas. I want students to dig deep within themselves for inspiration and ideas. I want them to push e
14、ach other to think differently and to make connections between the course material and the class discussion. I have been teaching my history class in this way for many years and the evaluations reflect student satisfaction with the environment that I create. Students realize that with deep conversat

This could be tricky if the conversation became more in-depth! But when asked which authors they actual
32、ly enjoy, people named J.K. Rowling, John Grisham, Sophie Kinsella (ah, the big sellers, in other words). Forty-two percent of people asked admitted they turned to the back of the book to read the end before finishing the story (Ill come clean: I do this and am astonished that 58 percent said they h
