1、形容词和副词的比较洛阳八中 黄丽红一 形容词和副词的基本用法1 形容词在句中的作用1）形容词在句中作定语、表语和补语。1）She is a good girl.This is a nice watch.2）The door is open.You look young.3）We will try our best to make our school beautiful.4）Leave me alone.2）形容词在句中也可作状语，用来表示主语所处的状态。1）He was lying in bed,awake./asleep./dead.2）They got home,hungry and t

2、ired.1 形容词在句中的作用3)alone/afraid/asleep/awake/alive/ashamed/ill/well(身体好)等常用作表语而不用作定语。1）He is an ill man.(错)The man is ill.(对)2）She is an afraid girl.(错)The girl is afraid.(对)4)two-year-old/200-metre-long/one-eyed等复合形容词中的名词要用单数，一般只用作前置定语。Tom is a two-year-old boy.2 副词在句中的作用副词在句中一般用作状语，修饰动词、形容词和其它副词，也可

3、修饰整个句子。1）He runs fast.You did it very well.2）This is too small.He is so young that he cant go to school.3）He is driving the car too fast.Mary gets up very early.4）Obviously you are wrong.二 形容词和副词的比较（比较级和最高级）1.“形容词（副词）比较级+than+”表示两者中的一方比另一方“更加.”。连词后可接句子，也可接名词、代词、名词短语、介词短语、动词、动词不定式、v.-ing 结构和v.-ed 结构。
