    88、bottle”, put into the sea by Japanese high school students almost forty years ago, has been found 6,000 miles away on the island of Hawaii.Nineyearold Abbie was celebrating Fathers Day with her family at a beach when she made the discovery. Inside the bottle, she found a contact form written in Japa

    89、nese, English and Portuguese, asking the finder to contact the senders at a high school in eastern Japan. The bottle was one of around 750 in 1984 by the schools natural science club. It was part of a project to help students learn about ocean currents(水流).Abbie was very excited by her find. And soo

    90、n she sent a message back, along with a drawing of her and her sister eating sushi.Assistant principal of the high school was very surprised to receive Abbies message. “The students were excited to receive the letter back,” he said.And a founder of the science club said the find brought back a lot of nice memories of her school days. “I am very thankful to the girl who picked up the bottle and my old high school who organized this project,” she said.13
