2、“Itsoclock”“Its time to/for”的运用。一个教具钟、单词卡片、教学光盘、人物头饰、不同国家地区的时间图片。Step 1:Warm up 教师请一组学生表演第一单元“Story time”中的故事。表演结束之后，教师提问：“Where is Zoom？”学生回答：He is in the canteen.T：Why？S：He is hungry. T：Why is he hungry？What time is it now？S: Its 12：00.Its time for lunch.最后一句教师要引导学生作答。Step 2: Presentation拿出教具钟，T：L

Are you hungry？Why?用动作示意学生说出：“Its time for lunch.”接下来教师利用钟面上的小图继续教授时间的表达，以及其他几个单词。如:将时间拨到12点并问：What time is the last class over（结束），kids？并板书新单词：over，now，oclock，kid。教师请几名学生上台拿钟，并随意拨时间，问：“What time is it now?”Ss：“Itso clock. Its time t

4、o/for”对话教学。A.创设情景，让学生对对话内容进行预测。B.播放光盘，可以就对话内容提一些问题，并借助画面帮助学生理解重难点。可要求学生用“Itso clock. Its time for/to”来写句子。C.模仿跟说，注意语音语调。D.分角色朗读与表演。建议教师扮演John的角色与部分学习成绩较好的学生示范表演，以降低表演的难度，戴上人物头饰情景表演，可自挑伙伴。Step 3: Consolidation and extension完成“Lets play”准备Beijing，New York，London，Sydney不同国家地区的时间卡片。两人一组，每人抽一张图片，并运用句型：“W

Its time to go home.Step 4: Homework跟读“Lets talk”部分的录音。本课时要求学生能理解对话大意，用正确的语音语调朗读对话，并能在语境中运用“What time is it？Its oclock”来询问和回答时间，同时能运用“Its time to/for ”来表达“该做某件事”。本部分教学贴近实际生活，利用教具时钟可达到较好的感官效果，并培养学生合理安排时间的意识。
