3、 of 47 mph achieved by a US.team which built a car fuelled by wood pellets.Engineer Martin Bacon,with his team,removed all the equipment from the old car and refitted it with an onboard wood gas generator system,which turns waste coffee grounds into energy to drive the engine.Mr.Bacon said the car c
4、ould run 100 miles on 10 kg of coffee grounds,collected from two local cafes.The car is not the first to be powered by coffee,though Mr.Bacon and his team based the design of the Rover on a white coffeepowered Volkswagen Scirocco built for the BBCs science show Bang Goes The Theory.That car was driv
